Structure
Our training consist of one full day training that can be splitted in two half sessions of ~ 3.5 hours each without breaks.
Module 1 – Evaluation Essentials:

Module 2 – How to evaluate the Excellence Section
- How the Excellence sections should be evaluated
- How evaluators are impressed by the Excellence section
Module 3- How to evaluate the Implementation Section
- How the Implementation section should be evaluated
- How evaluators are impressed by the Implementation section
Module 4- How to evaluate the Impact Section
- How the Impact section should be evaluated
- How evaluators are impressed by the Impact section
The above session is based on hands-on practice based on extracts from actual proposals in Horizon Europe.

About the instructor: Dr. Nikolaos FLORATOS

Nikolaos Floratos has a multidisciplinary education with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from City University London, a Bachelor of Humanities in Greek Civilisation from Open Hellenic University, a master of science in Telecommunications and Signal Processing from Imperial College, London and he is recently awarded his PhD in Humanities on student engagement in massive open online courses from Open University of Catalonia. He is an expert on behalf of the European Commission on evaluating and reviewing projects and proposals since 2003 and recently, he has received his PhD on how you can increase students' engagement and motivation in eLearning courses.
